From Farmers Branch to Farmers Market

Breakfast - a bagel with a pile of peanut butter.
"See, I can use a knife."

No sense wiping until we're all done - it's peanut butter.

He really had a good time putting on the pb by himself.

Notice that he didn't want to eat through the hole.

 All ready for Farmer's Market.

 I just love that face.

We were a little apprehensive about going into the play area.
He didn't say it but I think he missed his brothers.

 Almost
 There we go!
It was hard to get a good picture.  He kept moving.

Nose wipe. (notice the right hand - more on that later)
These slides get a lot of use - very slippery.
The market and park are in the PDX flight path.  Every time a plane went over, Gaven had to point it out.
He could barely reach the rings.

 One more trip down.

He got a small owie on his right hand.  The whole time we were out he acted like his hand would fall off.  Look closely in all the pictures - it's too cute.

 The Hand

 Uncle Jeff brought Jackson.

Holding back just a bit.

In a big crowd we have to hold hand. Cousin Amanda didn't mind at all.

Gaven LOVES cheese corn so of course we got some.
(I know what the sign says - they had a lot of different flavors)

You would think he just won the lottery.
(the hand)

Headed back to the car with our bag of gold.

TOTALLY Gaven's idea.  "I want it to have it's own seat.

Lunch

 Salt & Pepper Squid
Gaven was not impressed.

Scooter - Check
Helmet - Check
FUN - CHECK

He made me nervous with the way the scooter wobbled when he steered.
(and how fast he would go)

A sharp knife is the only way to cut the ends off of fresh green beans.
No fingers were cut off in the taking of this picture.

 Ready for the steam.

Chicken tenders ready for the BBQ.
Grandma and Papa's got sauce once on the grill.
Gaven's were as plain as plain could be.  He added ketchup on his plate.
Did I tell you he does not get too adventuresome with food.

Tonight was going to be earlier night than the last few.
Teeth brushing was a must before bed.

So was face washing.
Knowing how to tell time has many advantages.

When you know exactly how much time you have before lights out you can make sure you get in some TV, but not just any TV.
